A Bengaluru techie kills his two-year-old daughter because he lacks the funds to provide for her.

According to investigators, a 45-year-old engineer killed his two-year-old daughter and told authorities that he didn't have enough money to provide for her.

The techie attempted suicide after killing his daughter, according to the authorities.

On Saturday night, the toddler's body was discovered in the lake of the Kendatti village in the Kolar taluk. The cops also said that they discovered a blue automobile on the lake's bank. The residents alerted the rural police station in Kolar after becoming suspicious about this.

Following their investigation, the police detained the suspect for his daughter's slaying.

Rahul Parmar, a native of Gujarat who moved to Bengaluru two years ago with his wife Bhavya, has been named as the accused.

Rahul told the police that he cuddled and played with his daughter in the car before killing her since he didn't have any money and couldn't provide for her.

On November 15, the accused and his daughter vanished, prompting the girl's mother Bhavya to report them missing to the police station.

The police claim that Parmar lost money in his Bitcoin business and has been unemployed for the past six months.

Parmar had also reported the theft of gold items from his home to the Bengaluru police station. He once visited the police station to ask questions. When the police looked after the complaint, they discovered that Rahul had actually taken the gems out of the house and pledged them. He reported a fictitious theft to the police.

He was cautioned by the police and told to report to the station.

Rahul is thought to have acted in some way out of concern for the repercussions of making up a false police report.

Police are looking into the situation.
